BRAVE Counselling takes holistic approach to supporting clients, acknowledging that deficits in any of the following elements of wellbeing can impact the others. With this in mind, the root causes are therapeutically treated while supports are put in place for all other relevant facets.


Elements of Wellbeing
B - Behavioural regulation (deficit = irregularities in behaviour presentation, mood swings, outbursts of aggression and/or sadness)
R - Resilience mastery (deficit = lack of coping skills in the face of adversity, resorting to maladaptive coping strategies - self-punishment)
A - Academic achievement (deficit = poor or declining results in all or some learning areas, lack of motivation and focus on academic tasks)
V - Vocational pathways (deficit = lack of future direction or conflicting career pathways in mind, indecision regarding tertiary study and/or training)
E - Exercise regimes (deficit = infrequent engagement in physical activity, lack of knowledge regarding the mental health benefits of regular exercise)

If any of these elements are currently in deficit, BRAVE Counselling wants to guide you to improved wellbeing.
